An afternoon at Olbrich Botanical Gardens - Madison, Wisconsin

When we returned to Wisconsin after our week in Michigan, we spent the night in West Bend so we could attend church services there on Sunday morning.  After church, we headed to Madison, Wisconsin for the night.

Madison has a botanical gardens that is free to the public.  The Olbrich Botanical Gardens consists of 16-acres of flowers, plants, and pathways.  As we arrived in Madison before time to check into the hotel, we spent about two hours at the Olbrich.  One of the things we really enjoyed is that the gardens had plenty of shade to help offset the heat of the day.

Here are pictures of some of the flowers and plants we liked.

Which flowers are your favorite?
