In the middle of our trip, we're taking a 9-day cruise from Fort Lauderdale on the Grandeur of the Seas. One of the things I enjoy on cruises is participating in trivia, and a favorite has been the Flags of the World that Royal Caribbean does. I'm terrible at it, so on our last cruise I decided that I would study before this one and see if I could do better. Of course I didn't, so now that we're sailing later this month, it's time to get started!
DH borrowed the 2025 World Almanac from the library (for totally unrelated reasons), and when I flipped through it, I found they have a section with pictures of the flags. I've been looking at them and trying to fix a few of them in my mind, but I wanted something more than that. Surely there's an app!
The Flags of the World quiz on Geography-Games has a good multiple-choice quiz which is helpful as I can get more when presented with the right answer as part of the choices; but for many of them that I recognize that way, if I had to come up without a prompt, I'd probably draw a blank! So I need to find a quiz / app that lets me type in the country name rather than a one-in-four guess!
I want to at least recognize the flags of the countries we'll visit on our cruise.

And of course Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States of America.
I have to say this is making me use my retiree brain differently than I have lately!
