I love the holidays! I started counting down the days until Christmas back in October when there were sixty days still to go. My Instagram feed is full of holiday-themed pictures all hashtagged #christmasiscoming!
We like to collect Christmas ornaments when we travel, and it's always fun when we decorate our tree to think about the places we've been and the memories we've made with our family. Earlier this week I popped into a vintage store that my son likes to go to; he had mentioned that the owner had put out a few Christmas things already, so I wanted to see what she had. Well, I'm glad I did because I found this - an ornament of Bath House Row in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Now we normally buy our ornaments from the places we are, but I just had to get this one for DH as a preview for our trip!
So what about you? Do you get ornaments as keepsakes from your travels? Or do you collect something else? One of our sons collects thimbles; the other collects spoons. Both started their collections in 2007 on a Mediterranean cruise. We also like to get magnets; our refrigerator is covered in them.
